Guests enjoyed the downstairs foyer traditionally decorated by the Bentonville Garden Club. This year featured new greenery on the banister of Arkansas walnut and the traditional Christmas tree standing adjacent. The Carriage House was decorated in winter colors of silver and white with touches of red throughout the room.

The 6th Annual School Days’ tradition with its emphasis upon the reenactment and display of pioneer life for local school children was held September 16th and 17th at the Peel Mansion. Almost 500 school children helped load wagons on the “trek” to Arkansas, bobbed for apples, or learned how to grind corn.

None of this annual event would be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff, and the many thousands of schoolchildren who have enjoyed your service, THANK YOU!
